A couple months back the amazing Ferrari 599XX broke the Nurburgring track record, well Pagani couldn’t let that go unchallenged. So Pagani brought out it’s answer the Pagani Zonda R and broke the 599XX’s record time, setting a new record of 6:47. Now you can argue that neither of these cars are actually road legal or would you drive either one of these on a daily commute, but the times and laps are amazing to say the least. The Pagani Zonda R is powered by a 6 Liter AMG / Mercedes-Benz V12 engine which produces 750 BHP and 523 ft/lb of torques. The Zonda R goes from 0 – 60 in an amazingly fast 2.6 seconds and goes on to hit a top speed of 217 mph! Most of us will never get the chance to own or even drive on of these as the MSRP is in excess of $1.2 million!
